Narconon Arrowhead Drug Abuse Prevention Program
Every year 3 million kids, ages 10-14, try illegal drugs for the first time. Alcohol and drug abuse cost this each person in this
country $675 dollars, that is a total of $168 billion a year.
Narconon network has worked hard since 1979 bringing drug abuse prevention education to school children in
order to change this statistic. Each year skilled Narconon presenters reach over 100,000 people in schools, youth groups, corporations and civic
groups.
Bob Wiggins, a graduate of the Narconon Drug Rehabilitation program, trained as a Narconon counselor and
spent 13 years counseling addicts. During this time he became our lead drug abuse prevention specialist and began working with children to
prevent drug abuse. He has reached over 450,000 kids in the past 13 years. Robert Newman, who has trained extensively with Bobby, is the Director
of Public Service and also a drug abuse prevention specialist. He completed the Narconon program as well and overcame his six-year downward
spiral. He has already delivered effective drug education to thousands of students as well. It is this real-life experience that gives them
credibility with kids, and enables them to aptly reach audiences of all ages in conveying the real truth about drugs and drug abuse.
Today's kids need the truth about drug abuse, and they need this while they're young, before it's too
late.
